The chair and armchair from the Arch collection draw on the classic forms of armchairs and chairs, but thanks to simplified details, they gain a very modern character. The expressive undercuts in the base, inspired by arcades, evoke classical architecture. The base of each seat is entirely digitally milled, allowing for subtle, unobvious features that are impossible to achieve with traditional woodworking methods. The backrest highlights the distinct surface of the natural wood, and the use of plywood with variable thicknesses lends a subtle touch to the design.
