Chair number 14 is the most famous and widespread bentwood chair design, manufactured using Thonet technology since 1859. An icon of democratic design, the most popular chair in the world, and Le Corbusier’s favorite piece of furniture. It consists of six wooden elements: two round, two straight, and two curved. There are also 10 screws and two nuts. This makes a total of 14.
